Lavender flourishes here in Snout Snort. June is a great month to harvest. We cool our frustration at the latest cry of “our rights” this and “our rights” that (which usually means someone with a brain is daring to stop one of the locals from doing whatever fool thing he wants)  in the ”The Daily Fluff” with a civilized glass of Lavender Lemonade. This is one of the many pleasures and delights of summer in The South.

• Fill a tea ball with dried lavender
• Steep in a cup of hot water for one hour
• Use water in lemonade recipe
